10 Trick Minecraft Redstone Block Transparent

As a full block it would be really useful and not an overpowered redstone component.

Some transparent blocks can support redstone dust.

These blocks have the property that redstone dust on them can propagate signals diagonally upwards but not diagonally downwards transparent blocks which cannot support redstone dust cannot be used for this purpose. Opaque blocks overhead can prevent redstone wires from connecting to each other. An activated redstone lamp is transparent to sky light. If a transparent block can carry redstone wire it will act as a diode carrying power upwards but not downwards.
